We are Duri (ˈdu.ɾi) and Sean (ʃɔːn), father and son.

Together, we founded River Sound Studio — an immersive re‑recording studio in the heart of Bern, Switzerland.

Music has always been a shared foundation in our lives. While my own years as an active musician are behind me and my path has since led me to directing and producing films and commercials, Duri continues to perform regularly with his cover band.

My relationship with sound, however, has remained constant throughout my career. Alongside mixing all of my own films — as well as those of friends and colleagues — I completed an internship and later worked freelance with Felix Bussmann and the venerable SDS AG in Ostermundigen, which at the time was the largest audio post‑production facility in Switzerland.

During this period, I assisted on ADR, sound design, mixing and mastering for feature films such as Der Goalie bin ig(C‑Films), and was responsible for the sound design of Confusion (Bord Cadre Films / RecTv).
